Tips for people who 'don't have time' to workout

Today I thought I would share with you my top tips for people who claim they don't have time to workout! Yes I know some people legitimately do not have time to fit in a full workout everyday but there are definitely ways you can fit exercise and fitness into your life!

1. Walk everywhere you can! I know this is said a lot but it's so easy to jump in the car and drive everywhere (I know I do this a lot at home) but walking is such good exercise! The suggested about of daily step is 10,000 steps a day, obviously this is hard to track if you don't have any sort of fitness tracker but just aim for as many as possible!

2. Use your spare minutes! When you're brushing your teeth, cooking, waiting for the microwave/toaster etc. walk around, do some squats, do a wall sit, there are so many options!! During the adverts on TV you definitely could fit in doing some exercises!!

3. Get some dumbbells or resistance bands or even just use things around the house! You don't need expensive equipment, a gym membership or fancy gym wear! You can literally do at home, little to no equipment workouts, they don't have to be long either! Just do what you can! There are some great at home workouts on youtube (I'm sure we will film one soon!) and CrushFit have a great at home workout guide!

4. I've mentioned this before but schedule your workouts in! Just how you would schedule in your dentist appointments or meetings, plan your workouts in and stick to it!! Make time for it, if it's something that you really want, you will ensure that it happens!!

5. Always carry a water bottle with you! Not only will this keep you healthy as water is so so important, the more you drink, the more you will need to fill it up and also the more you will need to go to the toilet! And this means the more you're getting up and walking around and therefore, getting more steps in!

Remember, don't worry if you cannot exercise 5 times a week and eat perfectly all day everyday, as long as you're doing the best you can most of the time!! It's all about balance but also enjoying life and the lifestyle you choose to live!
